Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 995-KIT 2006-2013 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 LS7 8-Rib Drive Conversion Kit with 10% Overdrive Damper, Innovators West. This conversion kit is designed for the LS7 Corvette accessory drive and upgrades the system to an 8-rib belt configuration with a 10% overdrive harmonic damper.

If you're leaning on an LS7 with a blower, the belt drive isn't the place to cut corners. The 8-rib setup gives the belt more real estate to grab onto, while the 10% overdrive damper spins the blower faster without forcing you into an ultra-small blower pulley. It's a smart setup for an LS7 that's being pushed hard and needs the front drive to keep up with the rest of the combination.

The 995 kit includes the harmonic damper, power steering pulley, alternator pulley, smooth idler pulley, and ribbed tensioner pulley. The included damper is an 8.125-inch, 8-rib, 10% overdrive unit and exceeds SFI 18.1 standards.

The kit is designed around the LS7 Corvette dry-sump accessory-drive arrangement used in the C6 Z06 and other compatible LS7 Corvette applications. Innovators West notes that LS7 dampers fit LSX engines using the Corvette drive offset and dry-sump oiling system.

• The included damper provides 10% crankshaft overdrive.
• Verify belt length and routing after installation.
• Verify pulley alignment across the entire accessory drive.
• The damper uses a single keyway unless the optional double-keyway configuration is selected.
• The double-keyway option requires the crankshaft to be machined for a second 3/16-inch keyway 180 degrees from the original. Do not install a double-keyed damper on a crankshaft without the matching second keyway.
• Innovators West recommends the dual-keyway configuration for supercharged or extreme-duty applications, typically above 750 RWHP.
• The optional underdrive alternator pulley is intended for high-RPM race engines and may cause charging issues at idle in street-driven vehicles.
• Inspect the crankshaft snout and keyway before installation.
• Follow Innovators West installation instructions and torque specifications.
• Verify the complete accessory-drive combination before starting the engine.
• Do not modify or permanently install components until fitment has been confirmed.
