Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 854 LSX 10-Rib Harmonic Balancer for LS7 Corvette, 10% Overdrive, Innovators West. This performance harmonic balancer is designed for LS7 Corvette applications and features an 8.125-inch diameter, 10-rib drive, and 10% overdrive. Innovators West states that its LS7 Corvette dampers are designed for LSX engines using the Corvette drive offset and dry-sump oiling system.

If you're putting an LS7 on boost, the belt drive needs to be ready for the abuse. This 10-rib setup gives the belt plenty of real estate to grab onto, while the 10% overdrive adds crank speed to the equation and can help get more RPM out of a supercharger without going straight to an ultra-small blower pulley. It's a serious piece for an LS7 that's built to be driven hard.

The 854 uses an 8.125-inch diameter pulley, weighs approximately 9.1 lbs, and exceeds SFI 18.1 standards. It comes with a single 3/16-inch keyway and is intended for LS7 Corvette accessory-drive applications.

  • This listing is for one 854 harmonic balancer.
  • Verify engine, vehicle, accessory-drive configuration, and crankshaft before ordering.
  • Designed for a 10-rib belt system.
  • The 10% overdrive increases crank-driven accessory and supercharger speed.
  • Verify belt length and routing after installation.
  • Verify pulley alignment across the complete accessory drive.
  • Inspect the crankshaft snout and keyway before installation.
  • The damper comes with a single 3/16-inch keyway.
  • Innovators West strongly recommends a second keyway on high-horsepower LS7 engines; adding a second keyway requires machining the crankshaft and adding the corresponding keyway to the damper.
  • The Super Duty Blower Hub option used on some wet-sump applications is not available for the LS7 Corvette damper because of the larger oil pump and front timing-cover configuration.
  • A crankshaft pin kit may be required when installing an Innovators West damper on a stock non-keyed crankshaft; verify the correct application-specific pin kit before installation.
  • Follow the manufacturer's installation and torque specifications.
  • Verify the complete accessory-drive combination before starting the engine.
  • Do not modify or permanently install the damper until fitment has been confirmed.
