Hawks Motorsports is pleased to offer our clients the following. this ACC complete molded carpet and floor mat package is designed for 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro coupes equipped with a center console. It fits both hardtop and T-top models and includes a one-piece molded replacement carpet with factory-style mass backing, separate jute insulation padding and matching front and rear floor mats.
Manufactured in the USA by Auto Custom Carpets, the replacement flooring is heat and pressure molded using the original Camaro floor-pan contours. The molded design follows the transmission tunnel, front and rear passenger floors and carpeted rear hatch deck to restore a clean, fitted appearance throughout the interior.
The complete package includes:
- One-piece molded ACC cut-pile carpet
- Approximately 45-mil EVA mass backing
- Separate jute insulation padding
- Two matching front floor mats
- Two matching rear floor mats
- Factory-style finished floor-mat edges
- Center-console split
- Selected carpet color throughout the package
The carpet covers the front and rear passenger compartment and extends over the original carpeted rear deck behind the rear seat. It does not extend into the recessed rear storage compartment.
Factory-Style Mass Backing
ACC’s mass backing is an approximately 45-mil-thick Ethylene Vinyl Acetate material bonded to the underside of the molded carpet. This heavier backing provides additional body and structure while improving heat insulation and reducing sound transmission into the passenger compartment.
Mass backing also helps the carpet retain its molded contours during installation, producing a smoother and more substantial finished appearance than standard lightweight carpet backing.
The jute insulation padding is supplied separately from the carpet. Installing the padding before positioning the carpet allows the molded flooring to follow the contours of the floor pan more accurately.
Console-Split Design
This carpet is manufactured with a split for the factory center console. The console must be removed before installation, and the carpet must be carefully positioned around the transmission tunnel and console area.
The console split is not a completely finished installation opening. Additional trimming and openings for the seats, seat belts, shifter, console and interior components must be completed during installation.

This carpet package does not fit convertible models.
ACC manufactures separate carpet patterns for Pontiac Firebird and Trans Am models. This Camaro carpet package should not be used as a substitute for the corresponding Firebird or Trans Am carpet.
Installation Information
This is a premolded replacement carpet, but final trimming is required. Test-fit the entire carpet before making permanent cuts or openings.
During installation:
- Remove the seats, center console, sill plates and related interior trim
- Remove the original carpet and clean the floor pan
- Position the separate jute padding
- Center the molded carpet over the transmission tunnel
- Work outward toward the doors and rear hatch area
- Confirm the carpet’s position before trimming
- Cut openings gradually for seats, seat belts, console and shifter
- Trim the perimeter only after the carpet is correctly positioned
Do not use the removed carpet alone as a precise cutting template. Differences in stretching, shrinkage and previous trimming can result in openings being placed incorrectly.
The molded carpet is produced without a separate driver-side heel pad in accordance with the ACC application design for this generation.
Select the desired carpet color before ordering. Screen settings, lighting, fading and previous interior refinishing can affect how a color appears.
