Built around a new BluePrint cast iron 4-bolt main block, the BP4967CT features a 4.310-inch bore, 4.250-inch forged steel crankshaft, 6.385-inch forged H-beam connecting rods, and forged pistons for exceptional durability under high-performance conditions. Premium BluePrint aluminum cylinder heads, a hydraulic roller camshaft, and a 10.6:1 compression ratio provide impressive power throughout the RPM range while maintaining excellent drivability on premium pump fuel.

The long block arrives assembled with aluminum cylinder heads, hydraulic roller camshaft, timing cover, harmonic balancer, oil pan, valve covers, and dipstick installed, allowing builders to complete the engine with their preferred intake manifold, carburetor or EFI system, ignition, and front accessory drive.
