Producing a dyno-proven 741 horsepower and 703 lb-ft of torque, this Pro Series engine features a fully forged rotating assembly, premium BluePrint aluminum cylinder heads, and a hydraulic roller camshaft to deliver exceptional power, reliability, and durability.

Built around a BluePrint high-strength cast iron 4-bolt main block, the PS5980CT1 utilizes a 4.600-inch bore, 4.500-inch forged steel crankshaft, 6.480-inch forged H-beam connecting rods, and forged pistons with a 10.5:1 compression ratio. High-flow PS8012 aluminum cylinder heads feature raised exhaust ports and large intake runners to maximize airflow, while the aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft provides outstanding horsepower throughout the RPM range.

The long block arrives professionally assembled with aluminum cylinder heads, timing cover, harmonic balancer, oil pan, valve covers, and dipstick installed. Simply add your preferred intake manifold, carburetor or EFI system, ignition components, and accessory drive to complete the engine.
