Pro Series Base Dressed Carbureted Engine, a race-inspired crate engine built to deliver uncompromising naturally aspirated performance. Producing a dyno-proven 741 horsepower and 703 lb-ft of torque, this Pro Series engine is engineered for drag racing, Pro Touring builds, street/strip vehicles, and high-performance muscle cars. Featuring a forged rotating assembly, BluePrint PS8012 aluminum cylinder heads, and premium induction components, the PS5980CTC1 offers exceptional durability and explosive power right out of the crate.

Built around a BluePrint high-strength cast iron standard deck 4-bolt main block, the engine features a 4.600-inch bore, 4.500-inch forged steel crankshaft, 6.480-inch forged H-beam connecting rods, and forged pistons delivering a 10.5:1 compression ratio. High-flow PS8012 aluminum cylinder heads with raised exhaust ports maximize airflow, while the hydraulic roller camshaft provides excellent throttle response, broad torque, and outstanding top-end horsepower.

The base dressed package includes a 1250 CFM Holley® carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, Ready-to-Run distributor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, harmonic balancer, timing cover, valve covers, oil pan, and dipstick installed.
