Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 14464 1993-1995 Chevrolet Camaro SS/Z28 & Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am 5.7L V8 Cat-Back Exhaust System, T-304 Stainless Steel, Borla. This 3-inch cat-back system is designed for fourth-generation F-Body 5.7L V8 applications equipped with a single catalytic converter and features dual split-rear exhaust outlets with polished stainless steel tips.
For an LT1 F-Body, this is the kind of exhaust that wakes the car up. Three-inch tubing gives the 5.7L a serious path to get rid of spent exhaust, while the straight-through muffler design gives the car a deeper, harder-edged V8 note. Get into the throttle and the LT1 sounds like it means business. The adjustable sound setup is a nice touch for a street car too—you can change the sound level with the included block-off plates instead of being stuck with one setup.
The system is built from T-304 stainless steel with smooth mandrel bends and features dual 3.38" x 3" square, angle-cut intercooled polished stainless steel tips. The dual split-rear layout keeps the classic F-Body look while the 3-inch tubing gives the exhaust system plenty of breathing room.
Part 14464 is specifically intended for 1993-1995 Camaro SS, Camaro Z28, Firebird, Formula Firebird, and Trans Am 5.7L V8 applications using the single-catalytic-converter configuration. This is particularly important on 1995 cars, as vehicles equipped with dual catalytic converters require a different system.
