Designed for 1964-1966 Mopar A-Body applications including Dodge Dart, Plymouth Valiant, and Plymouth Barracuda, this A41 4L60E automatic conversion kit provides a modern four-speed overdrive solution for enthusiasts looking to improve cruising comfort, acceleration, and reliability.
The A41 utilizes a GM 4L60E / 4L65E aftermarket replacement transmission platform with electronically controlled shifting and lockup converter technology. Gear ratios of 3.06, 1.63, 1.00, and 0.70 provide improved acceleration and reduced engine RPM during highway driving compared to many original Mopar automatic transmissions.
Available in three performance stages, the A41 can be configured for different driving applications. Stage 1 supports up to 450 lb-ft of torque, Stage 2 supports up to 550 lb-ft of torque, and Stage 3 supports up to 650 lb-ft of torque for higher-performance builds.
The A41 4L60E is an excellent replacement option for aging transmissions such as the Mopar 904, 727, 518, Powerglide, TH350, TH400, 200R4, and 700R4. Modern overdrive technology provides smoother operation, improved acceleration, and up to a 30% reduction in cruising RPM.
