Designed for 1971-1974 Mopar B-Body vehicles, this SST A41 4L60E automatic conversion kit provides a modern replacement solution for classic Charger, GTX, Road Runner, Satellite, and Super Bee applications. The A41 transmission delivers improved acceleration, reduced cruising RPM, and modern electronic transmission control.
The A41 4L60E utilizes a GM 4L60E / 4L65E aftermarket replacement transmission platform with electronically controlled shifting and overdrive capability. With gear ratios of 3.06, 1.63, 1.00, and 0.70, the A41 provides improved drivability while reducing engine RPM during highway cruising.
This PerfectFit™ kit is available in three torque capacity configurations. Stage 1 supports up to 450 lb-ft, Stage 2 supports up to 550 lb-ft, and Stage 3 supports up to 650 lb-ft of torque capacity, allowing builders to match transmission strength to their engine output and vehicle use.
The complete conversion kit includes the A41 automatic transmission, COMPUSHIFT Sport controller, bellhousing, lockup torque converter, throttle position sensor, pre-bent steel cooler lines, flex plate, crossmember, rubber isolator, speedometer cable, wiring harness, inspection cover, reverse light wiring, and installation hardware.
The included COMPUSHIFT Sport controller provides advanced electronic transmission management with smartphone integration through Android, iOS, PC, and Mac devices. Shift strategy, shift feel, torque converter clutch control, and speedometer calibration can be adjusted to match your specific vehicle combination.
