Designed for 1970-1974 MOPAR E-Body applications, this A41 4L60E Automatic 4-Speed PerfectFit™ Kit provides modern automatic transmission performance for AAR, Barracuda, Challenger, Cuda, Gran Coupe, R/T, SE, and T/A models.
The A41 4L60E is a modern electronically controlled overdrive transmission designed to replace older automatic transmissions while providing improved acceleration, lower cruising RPM, improved highway drivability, and reduced engine strain. This kit is an excellent upgrade over factory 904, 727, 518, Powerglide, TH350, TH400, 200R4, and 700R4 transmissions.
The A41 4L60E features a 3.06 first gear, 1.63 second gear, 1.00 third gear, and 0.70 overdrive gear ratio. Available power levels include Stage 1 rated for 450 torque, Stage 2 rated for 550 torque, and Stage 3 rated for 650 torque.
The PerfectFit™ kit includes application-specific components required for installation, including the A41 transmission assembly, COMPUSHIFT Sport controller, OEM-style dipstick and tube, bellhousing, electronically controlled lockup torque converter, throttle position sensor, cooler lines, SFI-approved flex plate, crossmember, isolator mount, speedometer connection, wiring harness, inspection cover, and reverse light wiring.
The COMPUSHIFT Sport controller provides complete control over shift strategy, shift feel, torque converter lockup, and speedometer calibration. Bluetooth connectivity allows easy programming adjustments through compatible smartphones, tablets, PCs, and Macs without requiring complicated wiring modifications.
