Refresh the passenger door on your 1970–1975 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird with this OER reproduction exterior handle. Manufactured from die-cast zinc with chrome plating, this right-hand assembly measures 6-1/4 inches long and comes assembled with its spring mechanism and door-handle gasket.
Over more than 50 years, everyday use and weather exposure can leave an original handle pitted, scratched, or mechanically worn. Replacing a deteriorated handle restores a bright finishing detail to the passenger door while addressing wear within the handle assembly.
During a repaint, remove the old handle before preparing the door surface. Installing the replacement after the paint cures helps achieve a clean appearance around the housing without tape-off marks or overspray edges. The included gasket provides a barrier between the handle housing and the painted surface.
