Rebuild the existing door hinges on your second-generation Camaro or Firebird with this OER door hinge pin and bushing repair kit. The set includes four hardened shoulder pivot pins and eight sintered bronze bushings to service both upper and both lower hinges.
Worn hinge pins and bushings can allow excess movement, contributing to door sag and difficulty closing. Replacing these wear components can help restore door support when the original hinge bodies remain serviceable. Inspect the hinge bodies for damage or enlarged bushing holes before rebuilding, and check door alignment after installation.
A hinge rebuild is also a useful step during bodywork. Addressing hinge wear before final panel alignment and painting helps establish consistent door gaps.
Fitment Note: This kit does not replace bushings with a 15mm outside diameter. Check the existing bushing size before ordering.
