Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1978-1980 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 6-Color One-Piece Hood Bird Decal from Phoenix Graphix, part number 7981TA-1.
Designed to replace the large factory-style hood graphic used on applicable 1978, 1979 and 1980 second-generation Trans Am models, this GM-authorized reproduction features an exact one-piece configuration measuring approximately 47 inches wide by 55 inches high.
Each version combines five graduated color shades with a contrasting highlight color, creating the distinctive six-color appearance associated with these late second-generation Trans Am hood graphics.
Available year-specific color combinations include:
- Gold with yellow highlights for 1978-1979
- Silver with red highlights for 1979-1980
- Orange with gold highlights for 1979
- Red with gold highlights for 1980
- Blue with gold highlights for 1979-1980
- Dark Gold with yellow highlights for 1980
- Burgundy with gold highlights for 1980
- Bronze with gold highlights for 1980
The Gold version is also correct for applicable Black Special Edition models and all 1978 Gold Trans Am applications. Select the appropriate model year and exterior-color combination before ordering.
The graphic is silk-screened using high-quality inks on 2-mil, high-performance automotive-grade vinyl for a crisp, durable and factory-style finished appearance.
This package contains the one-piece hood bird only. Sail-panel birds, Trans Am fender names, front-bumper and rear-spoiler identification decals, shaker-scoop engine callouts, Special Edition body stripes, door-handle decals and technical decals are not included.
