Fitment note: The current selectable package is the Street version without a third-brake-light cutout, listed for 1982–1986 and 1991–1992. The wider 1982–1992 page heading and older Race photos do not expand that current selection. Inspect the actual spoiler and brake-light arrangement on cars with replacement or modified parts.
- One Street Original wickerbill spoiler extension with removable protective film
- Supplied mounting hardware kit with drill bit
This Street Original version extends the rear spoiler vertically by 2 inches, changing the trailing-edge profile and appearance. It is an add-on for the specified existing spoiler. Older Street design. Only the 1982-1986 / 1991-1992 Street version without a third-brake-light cutout is currently selectable. Some gallery photos illustrate the older Race version for comparison.
The protective film helps prevent handling marks during trial fitting and installation. Keep it in place through mounting work and cleanup, then remove it before final assembly as directed in the guide.
Gallery reference: Photos labeled “Race Version” or “3.5-inch Race Version” are comparison images from the existing gallery. The currently selectable package on this listing is the 2-inch Street version without the third-brake-light cutout.
Read the shared illustrated installation guide before drilling. It shows a Firebird example and states that the same installation steps apply across platforms. Match the actual extension, spoiler and mounting hardware before marking holes.

- Protect the spoiler finish with painter’s tape and trial-fit the extension. Check its alignment and any third-brake-light opening before marking the first hole.
- Confirm that the supplied hardware and drill bit match the mounting method before drilling. The shared guide describes an M6 Riv-Nut method; do not assume a different hardware kit uses the same hole size.
- Mark and drill one mounting position at a time. Check the required hole size against the selected inserts and the guide before enlarging the hole.
- For the recommended Riv-Nut method, use the correct adapter and seat each insert in the drilled spoiler. Temporarily secure the extension before locating the next mounting position.
- Repeat the alignment, drilling and fastening sequence for the remaining positions. Clean away drilling debris before removing the protective film.
- Complete the final installation with the fasteners snug. Avoid excessive force: the guide warns that overtightening can spin the Riv-Nut and damage the spoiler.
Which version is currently selectable?
The current option is the 1982–1986 / 1991–1992 Street version without a third-brake-light cutout. Confirm your existing spoiler arrangement before ordering.
Is this the same height as the V2 Street extension?
This older Street design adds 2 inches. The separate V2 Street design adds 1.5 inches; its material and option details differ.
Why do some photos say Race Version?
Those are retained comparison photos from the existing gallery. They do not describe the currently selectable Street package.
What material and size are published?
This extension is 59 inches long and 1/8 inch thick, with a matte black plastic / aluminum composite panel that can be painted.
Does the hardware kit include a drill bit?
Yes. The official listing specifies mounting hardware and the drill bit. Check that supplied hardware and hole sizing match the chosen installation method before using the shared guide.
