This ACC molded cut-pile replacement carpet is designed for 1993-2002 Pontiac Firebird, Formula and Trans Am coupes. It features a center-console split and a lightweight configuration with separate jute insulation padding.
This listing includes the molded passenger-compartment carpet only. Floor mats and rear hatch cargo-area carpet are not included.

Passenger-Compartment Coverage
The molded carpet covers the front and rear passenger-compartment floor area, including the transmission tunnel and areas beneath the front and rear seats.
Despite the use of “complete carpet” in the original product name, this listing does not include the separate carpeted components used in the rear hatch cargo area.
Lightweight Carpet Configuration
This version uses lightweight construction with separate jute insulation padding instead of bonded factory-style mass backing.
The lightweight configuration provides:
- Less weight than the mass-backed version
- Easier handling during test-fitting and installation
- Separate jute padding for basic cushioning and insulation
- A lower-cost alternative to factory-style mass-backed carpet
The separate jute padding installs against the floor pan before the molded carpet is positioned.

Coupe-Specific Carpet Pattern
This carpet is molded for fourth-generation Firebird coupe floor-pan contours. It fits both hardtop and factory T-top models.
Convertible and coupe carpet patterns are different. This carpet does not fit a Firebird, Formula or Trans Am convertible.
Console-Split Design
The center section is split to simplify positioning around the factory center console.
The split is an installation feature and will be concealed by the console after the carpet is correctly positioned and trimmed.

Automatic and manual applications use the same general molded carpet configuration, but the center openings must be carefully trimmed for the vehicle’s transmission, shifter and console arrangement.
Carpet Construction
The one-piece cut-pile carpet is heat- and pressure-molded over an original-style floor-pan form to reproduce the general contours of the vehicle’s passenger compartment.
The separate jute insulation padding allows the carpet to be molded more precisely before the padding is installed beneath it.
This application is supplied without a separate molded driver-side heel pad.

Installation Information
Professional installation is recommended. This carpet is intentionally manufactured with additional material around its edges and openings, so test-fitting and trimming are required.
Before installation:
- Remove the seats, center console and original carpet
- Inspect the floor pan for rust, moisture or damaged seam sealer
- Repair and clean the floor pan as necessary
- Compare the new carpet with the original carpet
- Allow the replacement carpet to relax in a warm environment
During installation:
- Position the separate jute padding against the floor pan
- Establish the carpet centerline
- Align the molded contours with the transmission tunnel and seat risers
- Test-fit the console split
- Mark the shifter, seat, seat-belt and trim openings
- Make small cuts and enlarge them gradually
- Confirm accelerator, brake and clutch-pedal clearance
- Complete the outer-edge trimming only after final positioning
The original carpet may help identify general opening locations, but every cut should be confirmed directly against the vehicle before material is removed.
Reproduction Information
This is a newly manufactured ACC reproduction carpet. It is not used, New Old Stock or an original GM carpet assembly.
Minor differences in color, texture, backing, molded definition and padding may exist when compared with aged original carpeting.
