Designed to fit inside the embossed “Camaro” name on the factory-style front grille or license-plate cover, this lettering inlay set adds a clean contrasting accent to the nose of your fourth-generation Camaro. It is suitable for replacing faded or missing lettering or adding color to an otherwise unfilled embossed logo.
The package includes the pre-cut “Camaro” lettering decal, an application squeegee and installation instructions. INSTALLATION NOTES
Test-fit the lettering over the embossed Camaro name before removing the decal backing. Confirm that each portion aligns correctly within the molded lettering.
Thoroughly clean the application area to remove:
- Wax
- Polish
- Grease
- Silicone
- Dirt
- Old adhesive
- Detailing-product residue
The grille or license-plate cover must be clean and dry before installation. Avoid using cleaners that leave an oily protective film.
Carefully position the lettering within the embossed Camaro name. Apply light pressure at first, verify alignment and then use the included squeegee to press the decal firmly into place.
Pay particular attention to the smaller edges and corners of the lettering. Firm, even pressure will help secure the decal within the recessed surface.
Do not install the lettering on a wet, dusty, freshly waxed or excessively cold surface.
