Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1999 Pontiac Trans Am 30th Anniversary / 2002 Collector Edition Rear Taillight Filler-Panel Name and Solid-Wing Bird Decal Set from Phoenix Graphix, part number 9902TATB.
This GM-authorized reproduction decal set restores the special-edition “Trans Am” name and matching solid-wing Firebird bird graphic applied to the rear center taillight filler panel.
The kit includes:
- One “Trans Am” name overlay decal
- One solid-wing Firebird bird overlay decal
- Installation squeegee
- Installation instructions
Factory-correct color applications include:
- White — 1999 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 30th Anniversary Edition
- Silver — 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Collector Edition, commonly called CETA
The graphic design is physically compatible with corresponding 1999-2002 Trans Am rear center filler panels. However, the white and silver versions are specifically intended to reproduce the appearance of the applicable special-edition models. Installation on a standard Trans Am should be considered a custom appearance modification.
This decal set uses the larger special-edition “Trans Am” name and solid-wing bird design. It differs from Phoenix Graphix 9302TATB, which reproduces the standard-style hollow-wing rear bird and corresponding Trans Am identification used on other 1993-2002 applications.
The 9902TATB set is not the correct factory-style package for the 1994 Trans Am 25th Anniversary Edition. That model uses the earlier rear-panel graphic design cataloged under 9302TATB.
This package contains decals only. The rear taillight filler panel, taillamp assemblies, rear bumper cover, physical emblems, mounting hardware and complete special-edition exterior stripe kits are not included.
The existing filler panel must be present and in usable condition. These overlays will not repair a missing, cracked, deeply scratched, delaminated or otherwise damaged panel.
Remove all remaining graphics, adhesive residue, wax, polish, grease and surface contamination before installation. Carefully align the “Trans Am” lettering and bird graphic with the original recessed locations before applying firm, even pressure.
