Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Collector Edition CETA Hood and Body Feather Decal and Stripe Kit from Phoenix Graphix, part number 2002CE.
Designed specifically to restore the distinctive exterior graphics used on the Collector Yellow 2002 Trans Am Collector Edition, this GM-authorized reproduction package includes the hood, door and rear-quarter feather stripes along with the Ram Air hood-scoop callouts.
The eight primary decals include:
- Two hood feather stripes with integrated Firebird bird details, LH and RH
- Two door feather stripes, LH and RH
- Two rear-quarter-panel feather stripes, LH and RH
- Two Ram Air hood-scoop decals, LH and RH
- Installation squeegee
- Installation instructions
The graphics are supplied in the factory-style multi-tone silver, light-pewter, dark-pewter and charcoal combination designed to contrast with the Collector Yellow exterior. Alternate black, white, gold, red, blue, chrome or solid-color combinations are not offered under this part number.
Correct factory-restoration applications include:

- 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Collector Edition convertible
Phoenix Graphix reports that these graphics were factory applied to all 2,390 Collector Edition Trans Am models. For a factory-correct restoration, verify that the vehicle is a genuine 2002 Collector Edition and compare any surviving original graphics before installation.
This package contains the Collector Edition feather stripes and Ram Air decals only. It does not include:
- Daytona 500 Pace Car door or event graphics
- NASCAR or Winston Cup Series decals
- American flag B-pillar decals
- Front or rear windshield PONTIAC lettering
- Front license-plate-cover bird decal
- Driver-side headlamp-door PONTIAC decal
- Raised Trans Am door-emblem overlays
- Rear-bumper P-O-N-T-I-A-C lettering
- Rear taillight filler-panel Trans Am name and bird overlays
- Physical emblems or technical decals
The separately available Phoenix Graphix 2002DD package contains the Daytona 500 Pace Car event graphics. Installing either decal package on a standard Trans Am does not identify or authenticate the vehicle as a genuine factory Collector Edition or track-used Pace Car.
Remove the old graphics and all remaining adhesive, wax, polish, grease and surface contamination before installation. Painted surfaces must be fully cured. Professional installation is strongly recommended for symmetrical hood positioning and accurate alignment between the door and rear-quarter feather graphics. These decals are not designed to be clear-coated over.
