Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 830 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird & 2004-2006 GTO LS1/LS2 6-Rib Harmonic Damper, Standard Diameter, Innovators West. This SFI 18.1 harmonic damper is designed as a performance replacement for the factory damper on LS1 F-Body and LS1/LS2 GTO applications. It features a 6-rib accessory drive and 7.25-inch standard-diameter pulley, and includes a new crankshaft bolt.

For an LS that's staying naturally aspirated or running a conventional accessory drive, this is a straightforward way to ditch the factory-style damper without changing the belt ratio. The 7.25-inch diameter keeps the accessory drive at standard speed, while the 6-rib pulley works with the factory-style belt setup. It's a solid piece for an LS build where you're looking for a serious harmonic damper without adding overdrive or changing the entire front-drive arrangement.

The 830 comes with a single 3/16-inch keyway, exceeds SFI 18.1 standards, and is available with options such as the Super Duty Blower Hub, crankshaft pin kit, and double-keyway upgrade.

INSTALLATION NOTES:

• This listing is for one 830 harmonic damper.
• A crankshaft bolt is included.
• The damper comes standard with a single 3/16-inch keyway.
• The keyway configuration must match the crankshaft being used.
• Crankshaft Pin Kit #967 is required when using the damper with a stock non-keyed crankshaft. The pin kit is designed specifically for Innovators West dampers and will not work with OEM or other aftermarket dampers.
• The optional double 3/16-inch keyway requires the crankshaft to be machined for a second keyway 180° from the original.
• Use a proper harmonic damper installation and removal tool to prevent damage to the crankshaft bolt threads or damper.
• Verify pulley alignment, belt routing, and clearance before starting the engine.
• Verify fitment before ordering on modified, swapped, or aftermarket accessory-drive configurations.

Super Duty Blower Hub Option:

• The Super Duty Blower Hub is a thicker hub that provides greater resistance to hub cracking under high-power supercharged applications producing 750 rwhp and greater.
• This option includes a new custom-made timing cover seal to adapt the oversized hub to a stock timing cover.
