Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 832 LSX 8-Rib Harmonic Balancer for 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird & 2004-2006 GTO, Standard Diameter, Innovators West. This SFI 18.1 harmonic damper features an 8-rib accessory-drive pulley and a standard 7.25-inch diameter. It is designed for LS1 F-Body and LS1/LS2 GTO applications and includes the crank bolt.

For an LS1 that's getting pushed harder than stock, the front of the engine needs to be up to the job. The 832 gives you an 8-rib pulley without changing the crank-drive ratio, making it a solid choice when you're upgrading the belt system but don't want to add overdrive. More belt contact means more grip, and the best part is you can run this damper with the factory 6-rib accessory drive if you're building the car in stages.

The 832 measures 7.25 inches in diameter, weighs approximately 9.0 lbs., and comes with a single 3/16-inch keyway. It exceeds SFI 18.1 standards and is available with options including a Super Duty Blower Hub, crankshaft pin kit, and double 3/16-inch keyway.

INSTALLATION NOTES:

• This listing is for one 832 harmonic damper.
• Crank bolt is included.
• Verify crankshaft and accessory-drive configuration before ordering.
• The damper comes standard with a single 3/16-inch keyway intended for use with aftermarket crankshafts.
• Crankshaft Pin Kit #967 is available for LS1/LS2 GTO and LS1 F-Body applications. It is designed specifically for Innovators West dampers and will not work with OEM or other aftermarket dampers.
• The optional double 3/16-inch keyway requires the crankshaft to be machined for a second keyway 180° from the original.
• The 8-rib damper can be used with the stock 6-rib accessory drive, allowing the rest of the accessory drive to be converted later.
• Use a proper harmonic damper installation/removal tool to avoid damaging the crankshaft bolt threads or damper.
• Verify pulley alignment, belt routing, and belt clearance before starting the engine.

• The Super Duty Blower Hub is a thicker hub that provides greater resistance to hub cracking under high-power supercharged applications producing 750 rwhp and greater.
