Built around a new BluePrint cast iron 4-bolt main block, the BP454CTC features a 4.250-inch bore, 4.000-inch stroke cast steel crankshaft, OEM-style forged 6.135-inch connecting rods, and hypereutectic pistons delivering a 9.85:1 compression ratio. BluePrint aluminum cylinder heads and a hydraulic roller camshaft provide outstanding low-end torque, crisp throttle response, and reliable performance for street rods, muscle cars, trucks, and marine applications.

The engine comes equipped with an aluminum dual-plane intake manifold, 750 CFM 4-barrel carburetor, HEI distributor, mechanical fuel pump, water pump, harmonic balancer, timing cover, valve covers, oil pan, and dipstick installed.
