Built around a new BluePrint cast iron 4-bolt main block, the BP454CTF features a 4.250-inch bore, 4.000-inch stroke cast steel crankshaft, OEM-style forged 6.135-inch connecting rods, and hypereutectic pistons producing a 9.85:1 compression ratio. BluePrint aluminum cylinder heads and a hydraulic roller camshaft provide excellent low-end torque and responsive performance while maintaining outstanding street manners.

The engine comes base dressed with a FiTech® Go EFI electronic fuel injection system, aluminum intake manifold, throttle body, HEI distributor, mechanical fuel pump block-off, water pump, harmonic balancer, timing cover, valve covers, oil pan, and dipstick installed.
