Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1970-1973 Firebird / Trans Am Dark Green Premier Perforated Vinyl 5-Bow Headliner with Sun Visor Material, Acme 70-1513-PRP1276. Designed for second-generation Pontiac Firebird and Trans Am two-door hardtop models equipped with the original five-bow suspended headliner system, this replacement features dark green Premier Perforated Vinyl for an attractive factory-style interior appearance.
The headliner is tailored to fit the original roof configuration and includes matching dark green material for recovering the vehicle’s existing sun visors. It is an excellent replacement for an original headliner that is faded, stained, torn, brittle, sagging, or missing.
The vehicle’s original metal headliner support bows must be transferred to the replacement headliner. Headliner bows, sun visor assemblies, moldings, adhesives, and installation hardware are not included unless specifically stated otherwise.

Fits vehicles originally equipped with the five-bow suspended headliner system. This product is not designed for later-style headliner-board or T-Top applications. Verify the vehicle’s roof configuration and bow count before ordering.
Installation Notes
Carefully remove and retain the original metal support bows before discarding the old headliner. Mark each bow’s position and orientation because the bows may differ in length and curvature.
Allow the replacement headliner to reach room temperature before installation. Use the center alignment marking to position the material correctly, then work gradually from the center toward the front, rear, and sides while maintaining even tension.
Do not trim excess perimeter material until the headliner has been fully positioned and inspected. Professional installation is recommended to achieve the proper tension, alignment, and wrinkle-free appearance.
