Designed for 1973-1987 Chevrolet and GMC K-Series 4WD applications, this A41X 4L60E conversion kit provides a modern automatic transmission solution for classic trucks and SUVs including K-Series pickups, K5 Blazer, Jimmy, Suburban, and Carryall applications.
The A41X utilizes a GM 4L60E / 4L65E aftermarket replacement transmission platform with electronically controlled shifting and overdrive capability. Gear ratios of 3.06, 1.63, 1.00, and 0.70 provide improved acceleration and reduced engine RPM during highway cruising compared to many original transmissions.
Available in three performance stages, this kit can be matched to different vehicle uses. Stage 1 supports up to 450 lb-ft, Stage 2 supports up to 550 lb-ft, and Stage 3 supports up to 650 lb-ft of torque capacity.
The complete conversion kit includes the A41 automatic transmission, bellhousing, lockup torque converter, rubber cooling line, hardware, isolator mount, COMPUSHIFT Sport controller, bellhousing dust cover, GM NP205 adapter, OEM-style dipstick and tube, auxiliary oil cooler where applicable, and detailed installation instructions.
The COMPUSHIFT Sport controller provides programmable transmission management with smartphone integration through Android, iOS, PC, and Mac devices. Shift strategy, shift speed, shift feel, torque converter clutch control, and speedometer calibration can be adjusted through the controller system.
