Replace a sagging, cracked, warped or deteriorated original headliner with this complete molded ABS replacement headliner board. The board is pre-covered in Medium Blue foam-backed perforated vinyl, providing a finished factory-style appearance without requiring the headliner material to be purchased and installed separately.
The vacuum-formed ABS board provides a durable replacement for an original pressboard or fiberboard headliner damaged by age, heat, moisture or failed adhesive. It is molded in the hardtop roof shape, uses factory-style attachment locations and includes the upper rear seat belt retractor cutouts used with the applicable 1974-1981 F-body roof configuration.
The perforated vinyl face and attached foam backing create the padded, textured appearance associated with factory-style vinyl headliners. Openings for the dome lamp, sun visor brackets and related mounting locations are formed in the ABS board but may remain covered by the vinyl until exposed during installation.

The AFH21 headliner-board family is cataloged for 1974-1981 Camaro and Firebird solid-roof applications. The replacement board includes the upper rear seat belt retractor openings and is covered with foam-backed perforated vinyl.
Roof-style warning: This product is sold as a hardtop or solid-roof headliner board. The manufacturer states that the hardtop-shaped board can be trimmed for certain T-top installations, but multiple factory and aftermarket T-top systems were used. Customers with a T-top vehicle must identify the exact roof conversion and follow the supplied cutting instructions before modifying the board.
Seat belt configuration warning: AFH21 includes upper rear seat belt retractor cutouts. Vehicles without these openings require the AFH21A-style board rather than AFH21. Verify the original roof and seat belt arrangement before ordering.
Color note: Medium Blue FBH6 is a separate Acme color from Light Silver Blue FBH10. Compare the material with the vehicle’s original trim or a physical color sample when completing a factory-correct restoration.
INSTALLATION NOTES
Remove the sun visors, visor brackets, side roof moldings, rear headliner trim panel, dome-light assembly and any other components retaining the original headliner. Preserve all reusable screws, clips, brackets and moldings because these items are not normally included with the replacement board.
Carefully remove the original headliner and test-fit the new ABS board before cutting the vinyl covering. Confirm that the upper seat belt retractor cutouts, roof contour, visor mounts and surrounding trim locations align correctly.
The ABS board includes pre-cut openings beneath the covering material for components such as the dome lamp and sun visor brackets. Once the required opening has been positively identified, make a small X-shaped cut through the vinyl at the center of the opening. Fold the material toward the back of the board and secure it to produce a clean finished edge.
Position the board inside the vehicle, align the seat belt and sun visor openings, and reinstall the surrounding roof trim. Do not completely tighten the visor mounting screws until the headliner is properly centered and symmetrical.
Do not force the board into place or overtighten the mounting hardware. Excessive pressure can damage the ABS board, vinyl covering or original interior trim.
For a T-top conversion, the board must first be fitted and marked from the back before the roof openings are cut. Remove the board, carefully cut the marked openings and reinstall it using the original T-top brackets and trim moldings. Professional installation is recommended before making permanent T-top cuts.
Electronic displays, photography lighting, aged original trim and production dye lots can affect perceived color. Acme does not guarantee an exact color match between reference swatches and every production run, so comparing a physical sample is recommended when color accuracy is critical.
