Designed for 1976–1981 Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird, Formula, and Trans Am models, the set includes one left-hand and one right-hand exterior door handle with a bright plated-chrome finish.
After four to five decades of use, original exterior handles can become loose, pitted, scratched, difficult to operate, or mechanically worn. Replacing both handles together gives the vehicle a consistent appearance and helps address two of the most frequently used exterior components on the car.
These chrome handles are an excellent choice for a factory-style restoration or for replacing weathered handles that detract from otherwise good paint and bodywork. Their bright finish restores the clean contrast originally provided by chrome exterior trim.
A repaint is also an ideal time to replace the exterior door handles. Removing the old handles before surface preparation allows the doors to be properly painted underneath them.
