Designed for Camaro SS owners seeking increased airflow, aggressive induction sound and premium underhood styling, this Track Series system combines a lightweight carbon-fiber intake tube with an open-element Pro 5R air filter and a powder-coated aluminum heat shield.
According to aFe testing, the system produced gains of up to 13 horsepower and 12 lb-ft of torque while flowing 37 percent more air than the factory intake. Carbon-Fiber Intake Tube
The intake tube is manufactured from lightweight, high-gloss, 100-percent twill-weave carbon fiber. Its smooth internal shape is computer-designed to improve airflow from the filter to the throttle body while creating a distinctive performance appearance inside the Camaro’s engine compartment.
The tube eliminates the original factory sound chamber and incorporates a resonance chamber designed to control unwanted frequencies while preserving a deeper, more aggressive intake tone. A billet-aluminum fitting provides a connection point for the original equipment vent hose.
Track Series Open-Element Design
