Product Description:
Hawks Motorsports is pleased to offer our clients the following K&N DRYFLOW Cold Air Intake System for the 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro SS with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 engine, part #30-3092.
The K&N 30-3092 replaces the restrictive factory air-filter housing and intake tract with a performance-oriented system designed to reduce intake restriction, smooth airflow and deliver a larger volume of air to the engine. The system uses a black rotationally molded intake tube constructed from high-density cross-linked polyethylene.
A black K&N DRYFLOW filter provides oil-free synthetic filtration. Unlike an oiled cotton filter, the non-woven synthetic filter media does not require filter oil after cleaning. Under normal highway-driving conditions, K&N recommends servicing the filter at intervals of up to 50,000 miles. More frequent inspection and cleaning may be necessary in dusty or severe operating conditions.
K&N dynamometer testing recorded an estimated increase of 11.76 horsepower at 5,005 RPM and 25.85 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 RPM on a 2019 Chevrolet Camaro SS 6.2L. Actual results may vary depending on the vehicle, modifications, operating conditions and testing method.
In addition to reducing intake restriction, the system is designed to improve throttle response and produce a more noticeable engine-induction sound during acceleration.

Important Fitment Information
This listing applies specifically to Camaro SS models equipped with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 engine.
Do not assume fitment for four-cylinder, V6, LT, LT1-trim, ZL1 or other Camaro applications based solely on the shared model year. Those applications may require a different intake system or part number.
K&N’s current application information does not identify a manual-versus-automatic transmission restriction for part #30-3092. Verify the vehicle’s year, SS trim and 6.2L engine before ordering.
Installation Notes
K&N states that installation can typically be completed in approximately 60 minutes or less using common hand tools.
Follow the current K&N installation instructions for part #30-3092. Carefully transfer and reconnect the required factory sensors, electrical connections and ventilation connections as directed in the manufacturer’s instructions.
Before starting the engine, confirm that the intake tube is properly aligned, all connections are secure and the filter is correctly positioned. After installation, start the engine and inspect for air leaks, unusual noises, warning lights or contact between the intake assembly and surrounding components.
Periodically inspect the intake system for proper alignment, clearance and secure connections. Inspect and clean the DRYFLOW filter more frequently when the vehicle is operated in dusty or severe conditions.
Emissions Notice
K&N currently identifies part #30-3092 as not legal for sale or use in California on any pollution-controlled motor vehicle. Check current state and local emissions regulations before ordering or installation.
