This kit converts the accessory drive on compatible 2010-2012 Gen 5 Camaro applications to an 8-rib belt system and includes a 10% overdrive harmonic damper.

If you're putting real power through a fifth-gen Camaro, the belt drive needs to be able to keep up. An 8-rib setup gives the belt more surface area to hold onto the pulleys, which is especially useful when you're spinning a supercharger and putting some serious load on the front of the crank. Add the 10% overdrive damper and you've got a setup aimed at keeping the belt planted while giving the blower more RPM to work with.

The 1005-KIT is built around Innovators West's performance damper and includes the pulleys and components needed to convert the applicable Camaro accessory drive to 8 ribs. The 10% overdrive damper increases crank-driven accessory speed and can be used as part of a forced-induction combination where additional supercharger speed is desired.
