Restore the proper assembly of your rear tail lamps with this 10-piece OER reproduction retaining-clip set. These clips secure the tail-lamp lens cover to the lamp housing, helping keep the lens and housing correctly joined during installation and vehicle operation.
Each clip is manufactured from die-cut stamped spring steel, providing the tension required to grip the tail-lamp assembly properly. A black-zinc protective finish provides corrosion resistance and duplicates the functional appearance of the original retainers.
This set is an excellent solution when restoring tail lamps or replacing original clips that have become rusted, bent, fatigued, damaged, or lost during disassembly. Ten clips are supplied and should be used as required for the specific tail-lamp assembly.
Unlike the exterior lenses and fuel doors used on 1979-1981 Firebirds, these concealed retaining clips do not determine the visible appearance of the tail-light assembly. They are applicable to Base Firebird, Esprit, Formula, and Trans Am models within the verified 1976-1981 Firebird application range.
