Restore the center section of your 1981 Firebird’s rear tail-light panel with this complete OER reproduction fuel-filler door assembly. Manufactured from injection-molded materials to original specifications, the fuel door features a factory-style smoked lens, a preinstalled red lower reflector, and the recessed silver-and-black Firebird bird emblem.
The mechanical hinge bracket and swing-arm assembly are preattached to provide a complete replacement for an original fuel door that is cracked, faded, damaged, missing, or no longer operating correctly.
This silver-bird version is appearance-correct for 1981 Firebird Formula and standard-production Trans Am models equipped with the smoked Formula/Trans Am tail-light design. Although the assembly may physically interchange with other 1979-1981 Firebird models, its smoked appearance is not correct for Base Firebird or Esprit models.
